Sidley - Early December 2009
Long, winding country roads led us back to our cabin. Why is it driving these quiet roads past wide open fields & gently rolling hills, brings a peace I don't often find anywhere else. The snow was beautiful to behold, such a change from the warm, california sun we'd left behind.
I'd taken this shot of a neighboring log home one morning I was out walking, the only day we had fog, it lent a magical feeling to the scene that I hoped to capture.
Each day comes bearing its own gifts. Untie the ribbons. ~Ruth Ann Schabacker
